Abstract
The goals of regional development policy include the creation of the necessary conditions for a dynamic spatial economic structure and the promotion of the growth of productive activity. One of the means to achieve these goals is an infrastructure policy that facilitates economic growth. From this perspective the provision of infrastructure at the regional level can be considered an investment in the future of a region.
